Aerial view of Avebury

The ground is in Avebury itself, on the south west side of the village. The cricket pitch and square are just about visible in the bottom left hand corner of the picture on the left. Alternatively, just drive to Avebury and ask someone - it's not the most difficult ground in Wiltshire to get to. Potterne, for example, is pretty tough, and Winsley is confusing even on a clear day.

Directions from Swindon Follow A4361 through village, passing Red Lion pub. Follow the road round to the right. Continue until you reach the Avebury Club building and turn right immediately after this building through a gate into the playing field.

Directions from Devizes, Malborough or Calne From the A4 at the Beckhampton roundabout take the Avebury exit and follow the A4361 for approximately 1 mile the turning to the club is a sharp left through a gate into the playing field. If you have gone into the stone circle and past the Avebury Club then you have gone too far.
