As Avebury is such a tourist attraction, home games are often watched by visitors from all over the world. The main path to the stone circles from the National Trust car park goes past the ground and although there are warning notices, enthusiatic sixes from batsmen are usually accompanied by shouts to warn the visitors of the danger of fast approaching cricket balls.
